Malmö’s ‘Folkets Park’ (The People’s Park) opened in 1893 as the first of its kind in Sweden, and has since then been a popular recreational park and entertainment venue for the people of Malmö. The first buildings in ‘Folkets Park’ were influenced by Tivoli in Copenhagen. The Moorish Pavilion and the Little Entrance, in a Japanese-inspired style, are still standing from that period. During the winter season, the park is transformed into a winter’s dream. I stopped by, with my camera, on a late afternoon in snowy February. Enjoy the gallery below.
